As we’ve been getting closer to the release of the updated iOS, the Spotify app has undergone some updates. The latest release, which was released just over a week ago, comes with a number of new features, including a redesigned home screen, fast playlist access, and an easier way to see your recent listening history.
The new home screen, now dubbed the “Discover” screen, has a number of different sections, including “New Releases,” “Favorites,” “Top Ten,” and “Daily Mix.” This new Discover screen will allow you to see all of the new releases on the app, a selection of your favorite artists, and playlists that have been created by Spotify.
The “Daily Mix” playlist is a new addition to the app, and will be updated every day with a new list of songs that have been curated by Spotify’s editors. You can also access your own playlists by clicking on the “Playlists” section.
- The update also fixes a bug where the app would crash for some users when navigating to a playlist from an album.
- The update also fixes the bug where some users were seeing a spinning wheel when trying to play a song.
